Supply of Machinery and Tools for Honey Processing Unit

1. The Ngara District Council located in Kagera Region, has received fund from Regional Rusumo Falls Hydroelectric Power Project/ WORLD BANK through NELSAP / under the program of LADP and set aside some of the funds toward Supply of Machinery and Tools for Honey Processing Unit. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to over eligible payment under the contract for Supply of Machinery and Tools for Honey Processing Unit.
2. The Ngara District Council now invites sealed tenders from eligible National Suppliers of Machinery and Tools for Honey Processing Unit.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 -Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, Ngara District Council, PO.BOX 30, Ngara from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tsh. 100,000/=. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’ s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to the District Executive Director, Ngara District Council.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration Form in an acceptable format provided in this tender document.
7. All tenders in one original plus three copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked Supply of Machinery and Tools for Honey Processing Unit, Tender No. LGA/036/2020/2021/G/09 must be delivered to the Secretary of Tender Board, Ngara District Council, P.O.BOX 30, Ngara at or before 10.00 hours local time on Tuesday J3th April, 2021. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at Ngara District Council Meeting Hall.
8. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
9. The Ngara District Council is not bound to accept the lowest quoted price.
