INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
TENDER NO: TP/04/2021/NCB/S/006 -PROVISION OF SERVICES FOR FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND AUTOMATIC FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM
1. Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Ltd (TIPER) is a bulk fuel storage facility with its shares divided equally between the Government of Tanzania and Oryx Energies SA. The Company office is located at Kigamboni Industrial Area, Depot site-plot# 1, Dar es Salaam-Tanzania.
2. TIPER hereby invites via National Competitive Bidding (NCB) technically qualified and reputable Service Providers for servicing Fire extinguishers, to submit their bids for PREQUALIFICATION FOR PROVISION OF SERVICES FOR FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND AUTOMATIC FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM.
3. Firms eligible to bid must be registered and licenced by the Tanzanian Fire and Rescue Department with valid fire equipment’s servicing licence and Certificate of the Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA), Also must provide evidence of at least 5 years of experience working with reputable organizations.
4. Bidders who don’t meet conditions in part 3 are not be eligible to bid for this tender.
5. All hardcopies of bids must be properly sealed and enclosed in plain envelopes marked Tender No: TP/04/2021/ NCB/S/006 for PREQUALIFICATION FOR PROVISION OF SERVICES FOR FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND AUTOMATIC FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM. All bid documents must be addressed and delivered to Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Ltd. P.O. Box 2608, Kigamboni. Dar es Salaam. The deadline for submission of Tender documents will be 10.3 0 am local time on 30th April. 2021.
6. Interested and eligible bidders may request electronic copy of tender document through the following email: [email protected] by sending an application letter and attach valid Fire and Rescue certificate and OSHA certificate on Mondays to Fridays at 10:00AM to 16:00PM.
7. All tenders (one original and one copy) respectively must be enclosed in a single envelope, addressed and delivered to the Tender Committee Secretary, Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Ltd (TIPER), P.O Box 2608, Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam.
8. Bids opening will be conducted in the presence of the TIPER tender committee only. formed by the company. There shall be NO public opening of bids.
9. Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids will not be considered for evaluation irrespective of any circumstances.
10. TIPER reserves the right to accept or reject any tender and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any bid.
