Assignment Title: TENDER No, TZ-187352-CS -INDIV FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICE TO FACILITATE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN E-LEARNING TRAINING PLATFORM ON JOINT CIRCUIT FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AGENT FOR TANZANIA TOURIST BOARD (TTB)
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the Work Bank toward the cost of the Resilient Natural Resources for Growth Project (REGROW), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (the Services”) is to facilitate the establishment of an E-Learning Training Platform on Joint Circuit for International Travel Agent for TTB.
The consulting services (“the Services”) includes to design, develop and capacitate TTB in organizing and managing virtual] marketing platform and Tae training for International travel agents/ buyers recruited in primary markets
The proposed training and online platform shall be highly effective and user-friendly software/ platform and will recruit travel agents while involving TTB staff to build their capacity and put in place sustainability features for the management of the platforms. The contract will be for a period of thirteen (13) weeks.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism now invites eligible consulting firms (Consultants) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are the experience in similar assignments, experience in Similar conditions and availability of appropriate skill (Technical and managerial) among permanent staff of the firm.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers of January 2011, revised July, 2014 (‘Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy co conflict of interest. Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub consultancy to enhance their qualifications.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Consultant’s Qualification Selection (CQS) method set out in the Consultant Guidelines.
Further information can be obtained at the below mentioned address during office hours, ie. 0900 to 1700 hours, Monday to Friday inclusive, except on public holidays.
Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the office of Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism located at the University of Dodoma, Block 12, and Room No. L122- Dodoma on Monday 26th April, 2021 before of at 10:00 am local time. The envelope shall be clearly marked “Tender No. TZ-187352- CS-INDV for Consultancy to Facilitate the Establishment of an E- Learning Train Platforms on Joint Circuit for International Travel Agent for TTB for the Resilient Natural Resources Management for Tourism and Growth Project-REGROW”
