Expression of Interest

- This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in TANEPS Issue no. TANEPS dated 14/08/2020.
- The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Gas Company Tanzania Limited during the financial year 2020-21. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Consultancy Services for Design of Wastewater Evaporation Pond, Workshop and Warehouse – Madimba GPP.
- The Gas Company Tanzania Limited now invites eligible Firms to indicate their interest in providing the services which include Design and Supervision of Construction of Wastewater Evaporation Pond, Workshop and Warehouse at Madimba GPP. The consultant will perform activities such as designing, preparation of working drawings and BOQ, preparation of tender documents, contract negotiation, award recommendations, management and supervision of the construction works at site. The time line for this consultancy assignment is twenty (20) months.
- Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
- A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
- Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
- Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary GASCO Tender Board, Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibaga Street, Kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, P.O. Box 714, Dar-es-Salaam, 1st floor, room number 4, [email protected] from 09:00-15:00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
- Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or before 23/04/2021, 11:00
- Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
