Expression of Interest
Date: 20th April 2021
1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in (GPN) which appeared in Daily News dated 24th July 2020.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Ministry of Agriculture during the financial year 2020/2021. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for individual consultancy for conducting Baseline Survey for Establishing Baseline situation on Post Harvest Losses of Food Crops.
3. The Ministry of Agriculture now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services which include among other things, assessing the post harvest management, Agricultural marketing systems, availability of and enforcement of legislations for a period of Nineteen (19) weeks.
4. Interested individual consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. Consultants may associate to enhance then qualifications.
5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 as amended in 2016 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
6. Selection will be conducted through the individual selection procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, located at the University of Dodoma, School of Humanities, Block 9, Ground Floor, Room No. I 121 from 09:00hours -15:30 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be delivered to the address below to the office of Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Agriculture, University of Dodoma, School of Humanities, Block 9, Ground Floor, Room No. I 121, P.O. Box 2182, DODOMA, TANZANIA at or before 10:00 HOURS on 28th April 2021
9 Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
