- This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Zanzibar Leo Newspaper Issue No 6286 dated Wednesday 31s October, 2018.
The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has received a Grant from the Global Partnership of Education (C;PE II) towards the cost of Global Partnership of Education Programme and intends to apply pert of the Grant proceed for payments under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of One (1) Motor Vehicle Double Cabin Pickup for Zanzibar Institute of Education (1.1E) on management of the curriculum reform process
2. The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training now invites sealed bids from eligible Suppliers for supplying of:
- Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No.11 of 2016and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Bid Data Sheet.
- Interested Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, P.O. Box 394 – Zanzibar from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays or email: [email protected]
- A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may he purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings Fifty Hundred Only (TZS 50,000/4 Payment should be settled through the following Account details:
Number 0400368000 with a Title name GPE Implementation Program, The Peoples Bank of Zanzibar Limited (PRI). - All Bids MUST be accompanied by an “Original Bid Security” from reputable commercial Bank in an acceptable form as described in the Bid Document amounting to at least TZS 1,000,000.00 properly addressed to the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Zanzibar.
- MI Bids in One (1) original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address;
