REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO PERFORM PENERAION TESTING OF FSDT’S ICT SYSTEM
TERMS OF REFERENCE
- INTRODUCTION
The Financial Sector Deepening Trust (FSDT) was incorporated in Tanzania on 1st July 2004. The FSDT’s overall aim is to make contribution to All Tanzanians to (derive value) from regular use of financial services which are delivered with dignity and fairness. FSDT’s objective are:
- Advocating for an improved policy, institutional, legal, and regulatory framework at national and sub-national levels of financial services
- Promoting more relevant market infrastructure and ways to reduce transaction costs between FSPs and potential clients.
- Stimulating improved access to financial products and services that respond to the needs of MSMEs.
- Stimulating improved access to financial products and services that respond to the needs of households and individual.
FSDT’s ICT system comprises of; on-prem servers, applications, cloud-based application, and website.
- On-prem servers: This includes a dedicated server with different sub servers that support File Management, Mail Services, Data Repository;
- Cloud Based Application: this supports office applications and its relevant data;
- Applications: an ERP that include the following modules: Finance and Accounts Management, Human Resource and Procurement;
- Website: FSDT has its own website that is hosted on cloud.
Key security challenges include:
- Comprehensive penetration testing has not been conducted yet to test the robustness of the security for the entire ICT infrastructure;
- Adapting to emerging technologies and threats;
- Working environment moving towards remote based.
2. OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSIGNMENT
Financial Sector Deepening Trust is looking for an experienced and independent security consultant to perform full scope penetration testing for the Applications, Databases, Server(s) Architecture and Network Infrastructure to identify any gaps and holes to maintaining a secured ICT environment.
3. SUBMISSION DETAILS
The deadline for submitting proposals is 1600 Tanzanian time on Monday, 08 March 2021. Submissions after this time will not be considered. Bids must be submitted electronically
