- The Ministry of Health, Social Welfare, Elderly, Gender and Children has received grants from the Danish Embassy towards the cost of the DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL SOCIAL WELFARE UNDER DANISH EMBASSY project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for Renovation of Health Centre in Unguja and Pemba.
- The Ministry of Health, Social Welfare, Elderly, Gender and Children now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors registered in (ZCRB) Class One and Class Two class three and class four and five who qualified to perform the renovation of thirteen health centre in Zanzibar.
- Bidding will be conducted through the Opening National Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No. 11 of 2016 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Bid Data Sheet.
- Interested Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board Ministry of Health, Social Welfare, Elderly Gender and Children, P.O. Box 236 Mnazi Mmoja from 08:30am to 03:00pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
- A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shilling Two Thousand Only (TM 200,000). Payment should be settled through the following Account details: Ministry of Health, Social Welfare, Elderly, Gender and Children Account Number 0707968000.
NB: Bidders are allowed to quote for ONE or TWO or MULTIPLE LOTS. The Contractor will not be awarded more than two lots.
6. Each Lot must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Tanzania Shilling Thirty-Five Million Only (TZS 15,000,000).
7. Each Lot in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to Secretary of Tender Board Ministry of Health, Social Welfare, Elderly Gender and Children P.O. Box 236 Ground Floor at or before 10:30pm and 24th _March, 2022. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Conference Room Ministry of Health, Social Welfare, Elderly, Gender and Children.
8. Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, and bids not received, bids not opened and not read out in public at the bids opening ceremony khan not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
