Introduction
SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania is a non-government organization affiliated to SOS Children’s Villages International, a worldwide childcare and protection organization that provides orphaned and destitute children with a permanent home and educational opportunities. Established 70 years ago, SOS Children’s Villages International – the umbrella organization. currently has Children’s Villages and other projects in 135 countries around the world. Globally, it runs the SOS Children’s Village Programme, which has two main arms, i.e. Family Based Care based at SOS Children’s Villages and Family Strengthening Programmes supporting families in local communities. SOS Children’s Villages has been working in the United Republic of Tanzania since 1991 and implements its programs in Zanzibar, Arusha. fares Salaam, Mwanza and Iringa.
Invitation to tender
SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania invites applications from competent firms around all locations that has its operations for pre-qualification for supply of goods, works and services listed below for 2022/2024 financial years. Interested eligible suppliers are invited to apply for pre-qualification. indicating the category number and Category name of goods. works or services they wish to be considered for National office and its programs off ices located in Zanzibar, Pemba. Arusha, Oar es Salaam-Children Village, Iringa, Mwanza as and National Office as indicated below.
Note: Every Interested bidder must indicate and submit the documents in the respective location/locations that he/she will be able to supply or provide service.
NOTE:
I. Pre-qualification is open to all eligible National Suppliers/Contractors/Service Providers with proven experience, capacity and prices are not required at this stage.
- Existing Suppliers who wish to be retained MUST apply afresh and submit up-to-date information.
- Clearly indicates Lot N and names; failure to comply will disqualify your application.
- SOS Children’s Village reserves the rights to disqualify any offer based on failure to follow solicitation instructions.
- The bid evaluation processes will be conducted as per SOS Children’s Village Internal Procurement Guidelines.
- The cost of responding to this Expression of Interest (E0I) is to be entirely born by the suppliers, whether they will be prequalified or not, and whether they will be invited or not to participate in further bidding procedures.
- Late expressions of interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
The selection Criteria will include:
Possession of company profile, registration certificate from relevant authorities, business license, company certificate of incorporation, TIN, VAT Registration.
- The company must have not less than three years’ experience in the relevant field, complexity in different organizations.
- Submit the list of key staff with their CVs demonstrating their ability to carry out the applied service if applied regard with the position you interested.
- Current physical location (which will be inspected for verification); that is a valid right of –occupancy of office premises or lease contract.
- Submission of power of attorney document
- Submission of certified declaration on Litigation information regarding your firm.
- Submission of three years audited financial statements i.e. 2019, 2020 and 2021.
