PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT OF JAMHURI PARK (FORODHANI) LOCATED ALONG INDEPENDENCE AVENUE, TANGA CITY

1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project which appeared at Tanga Yetu Portal www.tangayetu.esrf.or.tz on 7^th March, 2022
2. The Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) is the Secretariat Backbone Organization in the implementation of TangaYetu Initiative which is being implemented in collaboration with Inflows as Fund Manager and Tanga City Council as beneficiary with support from Foundation Botnar. The aim of Tanga Yetu Initiative is to build a more youth-friendly city of Tanga. The Management of TangaYetu Initiative has received Grant from Foundation Botnar for the implementation of various projects including the Redevelopment of Jamhuri Park (Forodhani) Located Along Independence Avenue. Tanga City in year 2021 2022. It is intended that part of the Grant will be used to cover eligible payment wider the contract for the PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT OF JAMHURI PARK (FORODHANI) LOCATED ALONG INDEPENDENCE AVENUE TANGA CITY
3. The Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) now invites Tenders from eligible contractors registered or capable of being registered in CI.A.%S I (ONE) to C1ASS IV (FOUR) CATEGORY for carrying out the PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT OF JAMHURI PARK (FORODHANI) LOCATED ALONG INDEPENDENCE AVENUE. TANGA CITY. The Consultant of this Project is Ardhi University under the Consulting Finn “ARU Built Environment Consulting Company Limited (ABF.Ce)’ who will supervise the Awarded Contractor.
4. Tendering will be conducted through a COMPETITIVE TENDERING specified in the Public Procurement Regulations. Government Notice No.446 of 2013 and Procedures set under TangaYetu Initiative and is open to all Tenderer% as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Executive Director. Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF), Uporoto Street Ursino Palate. P.O. Box 31226. Dar es Salaam from 0800hrs to 16001es on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on weekends and public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document (%) in English and additional sets may be obtained by interested Tenderer upon submission of a written application to Executive Director. Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF). P.O. Box 31226. Dar es Salaam. Interested Tenderer% will pay for printing cost of the Tendering Document (%) to the appointed Printer.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in the format provided in the Tendering documents unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
8. All Tenders in a zipped raider will be submitted through TangaYetu Portal www.tangayetu.esrf.or.tz. Bidders must upload filled, signed- stamped and scanned documents.
9. Late Tenders ration of Tenders, Tenders not submitted through TangaYetu Portal www.tangayetu.esrf.or.tz. and Tenders not received shall not he accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
