INTRODUCTION:
Mkulazi Holding Company Ltd (MHCL) is a joint venture company currently owned by National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and Tanzania Prisons Service. The principal activity of the company is to produce quality sugar and related downstream products such as bio-ethanol, particle boards, pulp. The Company is implementing sugar project at Mbigiri Estate located in Kilosa District Morogoro Region targeting to produce 50,000MT of sugar per annum once full operational.
The company wishes to invite competent, qualified, experienced and dedicated Tanzanians to fill in the vacancy positions currently available in the company as follows:
Salaries and other fringe benefits for the above vacancies will be paid in accordance with the Company’s Salary Structure and other related manuals.
Supervisor – Juice Clarification – 2 Posts:
He/She will be reporting to Manufacturing Chemist.
Job Descriptions and Responsibilities:
- Adjust valves to obtain specified temperature and pressure and obtain super saturated solution without caramelizing sugar;
- Turns valves to stop boiling and to break vacuum seal on pan;
- Washes and steams pan after striking to remove sugar remaining on pan body and calandria;
- Make sure all strike samples are checked under microscope;
- Strike all Massecute at required brix;
- Should not boil the pan too high, i.e. above the “FULL” mark;
- Ensure there is no force grain in the massecuite; and
- Performs any other lawful duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.
Academic Qualifications and Working Experiences:
Holder of at least form four (4) certificate coupled with three (3) years’ experiences in Sugar processing.
