Job Description OR Key Responsibilities For Store Manager
Inventory Management:
1. Oversee the inventory of both vehicles and automotive parts, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper organization.
2. Work with suppliers and manufacturers to place orders for vehicles, parts, and accessories based on customer demand and trends.
3. Regularly conduct stock audits and manage the parts department’s stock levels, identifying slow-moving or excess inventory.
4. Organize and display parts For Easy accessibility.
Parts Department Operations:
1. Manage the parts team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including order processing, stock management, and parts sales.
2. Ensure parts are properly stored, categorized, and easily accessible for Workshop Staff
3. Supervise the ordering, receiving, and Stacking of Parts.
4. Track and manage parts returns, warranties, and defects.
Staff Management:
1. Lead and motivate the store and parts team, ensuring that they are knowledgeable, customer-focused, and high-performing.
2. Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their product knowledge and Quality Controll.
3. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to enhance staff performance.
Financial Oversight:
1. Monitor the financial performance of both the retail store and parts department, ensuring profitability and meeting revenue targets.
2. Control inventory costs and minimize waste or obsolete stock.
3. Oversee pricing strategies for vehicles and parts, ensuring they are competitive and profitable.
4. Prepare and present financial reports on sales, margins, and budget compliance.
Store and Parts Department Operations:
1. Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and legal requirements within both the store and parts departments.
2. Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive retail and parts display area.
3. Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring efficiency and a customer-friendly environment.
Vendor Development
1. Ensure high standards of Vendor service in parts departments.
2. Assist Team Member for parts identification, and solutions for their automotive needs.
3. Build long-term relationships with Vendor by offering Good Payment service and follow-ups.
Alteast 5 + years experience in the same field
Truck parts knowledge is an added advantage
English literate – Spoken and Written
