Purpose of the Position
Analyzing sales data, identifying trends and opportunities, developing strategies to increase sales, and providing insights to the sales team.
Key Performance Objectives
Sales Target
- Collect, consolidate and generate weekly sales forecasts (month and quarter focus) and roll up each.
- Weekly numbers to Sales Management.
- Develop presentations that analyze sales activities and achievements.
- Reporting and analysis for the Sales department, including Executive reporting of Sales results, Key metrics and KPIs, Campaign tracking and analysis, and ad hoc strategic analysis.
- Implements and manages reports and dashboards in Sales meetings ensuring Sales Managers, Reps and Leaders are aligned.
- Have access to key data required to successfully manage the business.
- Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and external intelligence essential to the sales organization.
- Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
Operational Delivery
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing or related degree.
Experience
- 3-plus years in a Business Analyst or similar role
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent systems skills including Excel & PowerPoint are required.
