Role: Credit Analyst Manager
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Credit Analyst Manager to join our team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for evaluating credit data and financial statements to assess lending risks, managing a team of credit analysts, and ensuring compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to assess lending risks.
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards.
- Monitor loan portfolios, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external credit regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in credit management and finance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- In-depth understanding of credit principles and risk assessment.
- Prior experience in the financial services industry is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA(T) qualification is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the Expected Credit Loss (ECL) Model is highly desirable.
