JOB TITLE: CIVIL ENGINEER
JOB BRIEF:
We IZUNGO APARTMENTS & TOURS LIMITED T/AIZUNGO CONCRETE POLES, Who are established and reputable Manufacturers of SPUN PRESTRESSED CONCRETE POLES having a factory at Plot:04 Block: G LIGHT INDUSRIERS AREA.Bagamoyo District Coast Region Tanzania .We are recruiting an innovative Civil Engineer to design, develop and construct Spun Pre Stressed Concrete poles for a huge range of projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and Development:
o Create detailed designs and blueprints for concrete poles, o Ensure designs meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Project Management:
o Oversee the production process from start to finish, o Manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Quality Control:
o Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials and finished products, o Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Technical Support:
o Provide technical guidance and support to production teams, o Troubleshoot and resolve any engineering issues that arise during production.
- Collaboration:
o Work closely with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders, o Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of designs, tests, and production processes, o Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Proven experience in civil works, preferably in concrete industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in concrete poles
- Project Management: Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- 5 years of working as a Civil Engineer on a construction of poles site or a similar role,
- A verified engineering license or ERB registered will be preferred.
