Job Title: Cashier

Reports to Manager

The Cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions,managing cash registers, and providing excellent customer service.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Efficiently and accurately handle all customer transactions, including cash, creditcard, and debit card payments.
Listen carefully to customer orders to ensure all details are correct.
Repeat the order back to the customer to confirm accuracy before entering it into the POS system.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the menu
Double-check each takeaway order against the receipt to ensure all items areincluded.
Payspecial attention to any special instructions or modifications.
Regularly monitor the cash drawer throughout the shift to ensure the float ismaintained at the required level.
Greet each customer with a friendly and welcoming attitude as soon as they enter therestaurant or approach the counter.
Listen actively to customers’ needs and preferences to provide personalized service.
Handle any customer complaints or issues calmly and professionally.
Aim to resolveproblems quickly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Speak clearly and confidently in English to ensure customers understand the menuoptions, prices, and any special promotions.
While proficiency in English is essential, knowledge of additional languages can be aplus, enabling better service to a diverse customer base.
Maintain a friendly and approachable appearance at all times.
A genuine smile helpscreate a welcoming atmosphere and can positively impact the customer’s diningexperience.
Work in close cooperation with all other team members to ensure a smooth operation.
