Responsibilities

  1. Guest Services:
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints to ensure
  • Provide information about Apartment’s amenities, services, and local
  1. Housekeeping Duties:
  • Maintain cleanliness in guest suites. common areas, and facilities.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Ensure that all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., toiletries, linens).
  1. Maintenance Support: Report minor repairs or maintenance tasks as needed to facility Manager.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff for any urgent repairs or issues affecting guest comfort.
  1. Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain accurate records of room status and housekeeping schedules.
  • Assist in managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Process payments for services rendered during the stay.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other staff members (front desk, kitchen, maintenance) to ensure seamless operations.

Participate in team meetings to discuss guest feedback and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification
  • Ordinary level certificate (Form four) or higher qualification,
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles will be preferred but not mandatory.
  • Good communication skills in English and Swahili; proficiency in additional languages is an added advantage.
