Job Summary:
The Electronician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic components of machinery and plants. The job holder is the technical expert that deals with electronic issues, arranges to resolve the issues, and liaises with various third parties to perform such installations and repairs. The job holder is also to coach other colleagues on various related subjects.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.
• Work as a team member or alone to complete projects.
• Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes.
• Make decisions based on technical documents.
• Perform quality testing and inspections.
• Help the operators in the pre preparation activities.
• Ensure or adherence to company’s health, safety & environment policies.
• Help operators in startup activities to minimize production losses.
• Should help operators & provide training during preventive maintenance checks and parts changing procedures.
• Should report & rectify all mechanical issues that occurs outside preventive maintenance.
• should support in the quality check activities and provide corrective actions to be taken.
• Should give spares requirements to line manager as when required.
• Perform all other duties as and when assigned by the management.

• BSc Electronics or Electrical Eng. Or Diploma in electrical Eng.
• English Proficiency is required (to be able to interpret machine manuals)
• Must be Computer literate
• At least 5-8 years’ experience as an Electrical technician, preference to experience within the tobacco manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity and working knowledge of maintenance of tobacco machineries.
• Multi skilled and conform with lean operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
• Team player with good communication skills
• Proven job diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
• Commitment to work overtime on occasional basis
• comfort with learning new software as required.
• Familiar with PLC controlled Systems
• Familiar with PLC system such as Siemens S5 95U S5 100U, S7 200 S7 400 Klockner Moeller {EBE- 316, PS4-201- MMI} OMRON {C4OP}
• Familiar with frequency inverters such as Siemens MICROMASTER Allen Bradley   Mitsubishi Refoul & National VF5 VF6. etc.
• Familiar with Electro-pneumatics with brands such as FESTO, SMC, MAC and others.
• Familiar with sensor technologies such as proximity switches Photosensor, Fiber optic sensor such as Festo, Keyence. etc.
• Familiar with Programming of Cam programmers such as Omron H*PS & Crew STT Electronica C11-VE2.
• Troubleshoot & Repair of Motor Control System {Hardwire & Frequency Inverter Controlled} from ¼ Hp to 25 Hp Motors {Single & 3 Phase} DC & AC Motors
• Familiar with troubleshoot & Repair of other electronics devices, appliances & house wiring.
• Familiar with Temperature Controllers with brands such as ERO, Omron,
• Familiar with the automation control systems
• Familiar with instruments & QC equipment’s
• Familiar with factory service equipment if possible
