PRE-QUALIFICATIONS FOR SEWERAGE SYSTEM FOR MUSOMA MUNICIPALITY
LOT 1 OFF SITE SEWERAGE
CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERAGE NETWORK, GRAVITY, PUMP STATION, TRANSMISSION MAIN, WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT. HOUSE CONNECTIONS, SUPPLY OF VEHICLES, MACHINES, LABORATORY EQUIPMENT, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT FOR MUSOMA MUCIPALITY
1.The United Republic of Tanzania through Ministry of water has received funds from agencies de development (AFD) towards the costs of the Musoma Sewerage Sanitation Project and intends to apply part of the sewer to payments under the contract for the construction of sewer network, gravity mains pump station, transmission main, waste water treatment plans, supply of Vehicles Machine, laboratory equipments, operation and maintenance equipment for Musoma Mucipality, the employer intends to the prequalify for constructions of the following works
I SEWERAGE WORKS
- Supply and installation of 3.6 KM of PN Upv Pipes DN 200 – 600 for gravity and pumping main
- Installation of the already suppliers 5.8 Km of 10 uPVC pipes DN 200 – 300 for gravity and pumping main
- Supply and installation of 5.3KM of PN 10 uPVC Pipes DN 150 for lateral house connection
- Supply and installation of 402 manholes including covers and step iron
- Completion of outstanding works on the installed 25 manholes
II. Transmission Main
- Supply and installation of 4.3 KM of PN 10 PE pipes DN 150 to 300 for pumping main
III. Pump Station
a. Iringo, kitaji and Mukendo Pump Station
Supply all materials and construct three pumps including operations building at Iringo , Kitaji and Mukendo
b. Trunk Main Pump Station
c. – supply all materials and complete the remaining Civil Works at Trunk Main Pump Station( Currently 60% progress) and its operation building ( Currently 20% progress)
IV. Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP)
Supply all materials and construct a WWTP of the following units
- Three anaerobic ponds
- Two anaerobic ponds
- Four anaerobic ponds
- Operation building
V. Supply of operation and maintenance equipments
VI. Supply of Laboratory equipments
VII. Supply of all electromechanical requirements for the projects
VIII. Carry out geotechnical investigation at WWTP Iringo and Kitaji Pump Station
It is expected that invitations for bid will be made in December 2020
2.Interested eligible applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the prequalification’s document at the office of the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Water, Government city, Maji Street Dodoma, Tanzania address below between 7:30 – 3:30 PM from Monday – Friday inclusive except public holidays
- A complete set of tendering document in English may be purchased by interested applicants submission of written application to the address below and upon of payment of non refundable fee of TZS 150,000/= or the equivalent in freely convertible currency, payment shall be made through electronic payment system therefore interested bidders are invited to collect the control number for effecting the payments
- Applications for prequalification’s should be submitted in sealed envelopes delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 hours local time on Monday 30th November 2020 and be cleared marked” Applications to prequalify lot 1-off site sewerages: construction of sewerage network, gravity mains, pump stations, transmission main, waste water treatment plant house connection supply of vehicles, machines laboratory equipments operations and maintenance equipment for Musoma Municipality.
