INVITATION FOR APPLICATIONS FOR MR AND GROUND HANDLING SERVICES LICENSES

Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) is a body corporate established pursuant to Section 29 of Civil Aviation Act Cap 80. The Act mandates the Authority to provide Safety. Security and Economic Oversight of the Civil Aviation Industry in Tanzania as well as provision of Air Navigation Services.

The regulated services under the Authority are air transport services, aeronautical airport services (airside airport operations, ground handling. in-flight catering and aviation fueling) and air navigation services.

The Authority Wishes to inform Sir operators, ground handlers and the general public that the TCAA Licensing Board shall be holding its Licensing Board Meeting on 2-^, Juno 2022. Now applicants and operators whose licenses are duo for renewal between May and June 2022 or wish to vary their licenses, are invited to submit applications as appropriate for consideration by the Board.

Applications for renewal of Air Services Licenses shall be in accordance with Tanzania Civil Aviation (Licensing of Air Services) Regulations. 2006, including regulations 8 (3), 25 (3) and 25 (6) of the Regulations while Ground Handling Service applications shall be in accordance with regulations 6 and 7 of the Civil Aviation (Ground Handling Services) Regulations. 2012.

Now applications for Air Services Licenses shall be in line with regulations 8 (2) and 8 (3) of Tanzania Civil Aviation (Licensing of Air Services) Regulations. 2006 whereas new applications for Ground Handing Services Licenses shall be in line with regulations 6 and 7 of the Civil Aviation (Ground Handling Services) Regulations, 2012.

All applications, with relevant enclosures, including proof of payment of the relevant
application foes, should be submitted to the undersigned by 15:30 hours on 2¹⁴4612022.
