Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Tanzanian accounting standards.
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory returns, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporate Tax.
Payroll Management: Process employee salaries and ensure all deductions and benefits are correctly calculated.
Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits to maintain transparency.
Budgeting & Analysis: Monitor company expenditures against budgets and provide reports on financial variances to management.
Accounts Receivable/Payable: Manage billing for clients and ensure all vendor payments are processed efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA-T or equivalent is a plus).
Professionalism: A mature candidate (aged 35+) with strong leadership qualities and ethical conduct.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Communication: Fluent in both Swahili and English.
