At least 20 years of progressive experience in human rights, international relations, or a closely related field.
Experience in large multicultural institutions.
Experience in policy planning, political analysis, and programme management, including coordination within a multilateral framework.
Proven track record of excellent management and leadership skills.
Well-demonstrated negotiating and diplomatic skills.
Ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural team and establish effective relationships inside and outside the organisation.
Strong commitment to UN values and guiding principles, with sound understanding of the UN system, including peacekeeping, human rights, humanitarian, and development contexts.
At least 20 years of progressive experience in human rights or related fields, with a strong focus on management, resource mobilisation, financial, and/or human resources in large multilateral institutions.
Experience in programme management, project planning and analysis, and programme budgeting in large organisations.
Proven track record of excellent management and technical leadership skills, including coordination within a multilateral framework.
Well-demonstrated negotiating and diplomatic skills.
Ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural team and establish effective relationships inside and outside the organisation.
Strong commitment to UN values and guiding principles, with sound understanding of the UN system, including peacekeeping, human rights, humanitarian, and development contexts.
Languages: Fluency in English is required. A working knowledge of French or another official UN language will be an advantage.
