• Position: Tutor II – (Animal Science)
• Number of positions: 1

Duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Teaching students up to NTA Level 6 and assisting with teaching at higher levels where required.
• Administering examinations up to NTA Level 6.
• Preparing training materials and learning resources and providing training to students.
• Supervising and assisting junior staff.
• Supervising field training.
• Conducting tutorial sessions for students with academic deficiencies.
• Setting examinations and assignments.
• Identifying students’ needs and providing counselling.
• Conducting and supervising presentation classes and tutorials.
• Conducting research and consultancy work.
• Performing any other duties assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

The applicant must:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from an institution or university recognized by the Government.
• Have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 5.0.

Remuneration

Salary scale: PTSS3
