PRINCIPAL OFFICER
TRUSTLINK INSURANCE BROKERS LTD
Location – Dar es salaam
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the official liaison between the company and the Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA)
- Ensure full compliance with the Insurance Act and all regulatory requirements
- Manage licensing, regulatory filings, and statutory reporting obligations
- Coordinate regulatory audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
- Maintain adherence to “Fit and Proper” requirements
- Oversee brokerage operations to ensure efficiency and service excellence Ensure proper documentation of policies, renewals, and client records
- Monitor premium collection and compliance with remittance requirements
- Support claims processes and client service delivery
- Provide advisory support to clients on insurance solutions and risk management
- Strengthen relationships with insurers and key stakeholders
- Support business growth, portfolio development, and market expansion
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in insurance, brokerage, or compliance environment
- Proven experience in insurance operations, regulatory compliance, or client service
EXPERIENCE
- Strong knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- High level of integrity and professional ethics
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage regulatory relationships and operational processes effectively
