Duties and responsibilities

The Technician II (Automobile) will be responsible for:

• Supervising and participating in the maintenance and repair of plants, machinery, motor vehicles, and construction equipment.
• Performing routine maintenance, such as oil and brake changes.
• Repairing or replacing worn, old, or defective car parts and testing systems after repairs.
• Maintaining detailed repair records to support invoicing and customer support.
• Communicating with service advisors about diagnosed problems, necessary repairs, and repair timelines.
• Ensuring tools and work areas are clean, operational, and safe.
• Keeping up with new automotive technology and repair best practices.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

• Form IV or Form VI education.
• A Diploma or NTA Level 6 qualification in Automobile Engineering, Automotive Mechanics, or other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.

Remuneration

Salary scale: TRCS 3
