Position Overview

Steer the tax function for diverse entities, navigating Tanzania and Zanzibar regulatory landscapes to safeguard compliance and enhance tax performance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: Manage the end-to-end filing process for all statutory taxes (VAT, PAYE, WHT, etc.).
• Strategic Advisory: Provide actionable insights on corporate structuring and international tax matters.
• Audit & Relations: Lead tax audits and act as the primary liaison for regulatory
  bodies and auditors.
• Payroll Governance: Oversee NSSF, WCF, and PAYE to ensure 100% payroll tax accuracy.
• Reporting: Deliver comprehensive tax reports for management and annual financial
  audits.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.
• 3—5 years’ experience in tax compliance and advisory.
• CPA or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
• Experience with multi-entity environments preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of local tax laws and TRA systems.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• High integrity and professional ethics.
