Currently, we are seeking suitably qualified candidates to fill in Senior Regional Technical Officer, Strategic Information Police & Prisons (PnP) in Dar es salaam for its EpiC project in Tanzania.
The Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project dedicated to achieving and maintaining HIV epidemic control by providing strategic technical assistance and delivery of lifesaving activities to achieve HIV epidemic control and promote self-reliant management of national HIV programs by improving HIV case finding, treatment programming, and viral load suppression.
Job Summary:
The candidate will support the implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar. Key responsibilities include providing technical assistance to EpiC staff, Police and Prison teams, healthcare providers (HCPs), community health workers (CHWs), and local government counterparts to strengthen Strategic Information (SI) systems at both facility and regional levels. This support will focus on enhancing data management processes, data visualization, and the development of analytical tools for routine program monitoring. Additionally, the role involves facilitating data analysis and interpretation to generate actionable insights that inform program decisions, while ensuring compliance with U.S. Department of State (DoS) and EpiC reporting standards.

The expected hiring salary range for this role is TZS 75,000,000 – 95,000,000 annually for basic salary. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, market pay, and budget.
