On behalf of our client, A leading company in the international construction sector is  inviting qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the positions of Soil Leveling Machine (SLM) / Motor  Grader Operator and JCB Operator. These roles are ideal for professionals who are passionate about operations,  customer service, and working with contractor-class clients involved in major construction projects. 

Location: Songea & Tunduru 

Duration: 6 Month (renewables) 

1. Soil Leveling Machine (SLM) / Motor Grader Operator 05 Position 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate Soil Leveling Machine / Motor Grader safely and efficiently for site preparation, grading, and  leveling operations 
• Ensure precise grading and leveling in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and tolerances
• Carry out pre-shift and post-shift machine inspections, report defects, and perform routine preventive  maintenance 
• Strictly adhere to all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures, site regulations, and PPE  requirements 
• Collaborate with site supervisors, surveyors, and other operators to meet project milestones and quality  standards 
• Maintain accurate daily operational logs, fuel usage records, and equipment condition reports 

Requirements: 

• Valid Driving License issued for heavy equipment operating license (Class applicable to Motor Grader /  SLM) 
• Minimum 3 years’ proven experience operating a Soil Leveling Machine / Motor Grader on active  construction sites 
• Thorough knowledge of construction site HSE regulations, risk assessments, and safe working practices
• Ability to read and interpret basic site plans, survey stakes, and grade pegs to achieve specified elevations 
• Physical fitness and ability to work extended hours in challenging outdoor environments
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary site team

2. JCB Operator – 04 Position 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate JCB machinery (backhoe loader / excavator) safely for excavation, trenching, loading, backfilling,  and site preparation tasks 
• Conduct pre-shift, during-shift, and post-shift machine inspections; carry out minor servicing and  promptly report faults to maintenance 
• Strictly comply with all HSE policies, site-specific safety plans, exclusion zones, and PPE requirements at  all times 
• Coordinate with site supervisors, labourers, and other plant operators to support efficient and safe site  activities 
• Ensure work areas are safe, clear of personnel during operation, and properly barricaded where required
• Maintain accurate daily operational logs, fuel consumption records, and incident or near-miss reports 

Requirements: 

• Valid Driving License for heavy equipment operating license (Class applicable to JCB / backhoe loader)
• Minimum 3 years’ proven hands-on experience operating JCB machinery on active civil or building  construction sites 
• Basic knowledge of HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems, and machinery specific safety protocols
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a diverse site  team 
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and report common equipment faults and wear
• Physical fitness to meet the demands of outdoor construction work across varying shift patterns and  conditions
