Assistant Tax Manager at Given Tax Consultant

About the Role: 
The Assistant Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the clients tax compliance, planning, and  reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of local tax laws and regulations, as well as the ability to effectively  manage tax-related projects and initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Planning work schedule for the Firm. 
• Conducting Tax health checks to clients business. 
• Attending to tax queries on behalf of clients. 
• Representing clients in all tax matters. 
• Training team members on various tax matters. 
• Training clients on compliance to various tax laws and procedures. 
• Updating clients on any tax changes. 
• Implementing any other assignment relating to tax administration. 

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Taxation or equivalent 
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in attending and representing clients in all taxes administered by TRA
•  Postgraduate Diploma in Tax Management/ CPA(T) will be an added advantage, Assistant Tax Manager at Given Tax Consultant

Terms of Service: 

• The successful candidates will be placed on a Fixed Term Contract.
