Duties and responsibilities

The Assistant Lecturer (Tourism) will be responsible for the following:

• Teaching students up to NTA Level 8 (Bachelor’s Degree).
• Preparing learning resources for tutorial exercises.
• Conducting research, seminars and related studies.
• Carrying out consultancy and community services under supervision.
• Supervising students’ projects.
• Performing any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess both a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree from recognized institutions in one of the following fields:

• Tourism
• Cultural and Heritage Management
• Tourism and History
• Tourism and Hospitality Management

Candidates must also meet the following requirements:

• A minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5.0 at the Bachelor’s degree level.
• A minimum GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0 at the Master’s degree level.
• The Master’s degree must be related to the Bachelor’s degree.

Remuneration

• Salary scale: PHTS 2.1
