• Position: Assistant Lecturer – Biomedical Engineering
• Number of positions: 1
• Application period: 27 August 2026 to 9 September 2026
• Remuneration: PHTS 2/1

Duties and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Teaching up to NTA Level 8 (Bachelor’s degree).
• Preparing learning resources for tutorial exercises.
• Conducting research, seminars and case studies.
• Carrying out consultancy and community service under supervision.
• Supervising students’ projects.
• Preparing teaching manuals.
• Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must have:

• A Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• A Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
• A GPA of 3.5 or above in both the Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree.

Experience and publications

Applicants must also have:

• At least one year of proven working experience in research or consultancy.
• At least one published consultancy or research report of appreciable academic and professional depth in the relevant field.
