Duties and responsibilities

The Artisan II (Auto Electric) will be responsible for:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems of plants, machinery, and motor vehicles.
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults in equipment and machinery.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance of electrical components.
• Testing and replacing faulty electrical parts and systems.
• Supporting the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Performing any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Form IV Certificate with any of the following qualifications:

• CBET Level II or III Certificate in Auto Electric;
• Trade Test Grade I or II Certificate in Auto Electric;
• NVA Level II or III in Auto Electric; or
• Equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

Remuneration

Salary scale: TRCS 1
