Background & Context
Ubongo is a leading edutainment organization producing high-quality educational content for children across Africa. As part of its strategic shift toward digital-first content, Ubongo is expanding into AI-assisted video production to rapidly remix, adapt, and scale existing content into new formats for delivery initially to digital channels.
This includes experimenting with AI tools to generate high-volume visual content, testing new creative directions, and optimizing formats for short-form platforms while maintaining strong alignment with Ubongo’s brand and child-safety and educational standards.
Purpose of the Assignment
The purpose of this assignment is to produce AI-enhanced video content, including remixed music videos and character-based visual “transformations”.
Scope of Work
Video Production (Core Responsibility
Create AI-enhanced video content using existing Akili and Me assets
Remix and adapt existing videos into new visual formats
Ensure outputs are engaging, child-friendly, and visually compelling
Content Creation
AI Remix Videos
Produce AI-enhanced remixes of existing Akili and Me music videos
Adapt content for:
Landscape (long-form platforms)
Short-form (e.g., reels, shorts)
Create reusable animation loops for ongoing content production
AI Character Transformations
Create 4 distinct character-based video concepts
Each concept explores transformations such as:
Different professions
Fashion styles
Scenarios or locations
Deliver:
4 versions per concept
Each version approximately 1 minute long
Focus on visual creativity and variation (no narrative required)
Adapt content for:
Landscape (long-form platforms)
Short-form (e.g., reels, shorts)
Optimization & Delivery
Ensure all videos are optimized for:
Short-form distribution
Cross-platform compatibility
Deliver platform-ready final video files
Maintain consistency in visual quality and formatting
Asset Development
