Duties and responsibilities

The Assistant Tutor – Food Production will be responsible for the following:

• Teaching students up to NTA Level 5 and assisting with teaching at higher NTA levels.
• Preparing learning resources for practical exercises.
• Assisting in carrying out consultancy and community services.
• Assisting in conducting practical exercises for students under close supervision.
• Preparing materials for practical exercises.
• Carrying out consultancy and service Job as assigned under close supervision.
• Performing any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

• An Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in any of the following fields:
  • Hotel Management
  • Hospitality Management majoring in Culinary Arts
  • Pastry and Bakery
  • Food Production
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 5.

Remuneration

The successful candidates will receive remuneration according to salary scale PTSS 1.1.
