We are currently hiring for the above role where qualified candidate will be Supervises daily Food and Beverage (F&B) shift operation and ensures compliance with all F&B policies, standards and procedures. Manages day-to-day F&B operations, monitors quality, and standards and meets the expectations of the customers on a daily basis. Maintains the operating budget, and verifies that standards and legal obligations are followed.

Summary
Senior Food & Beverage provides strategic and operational leadership, guidance, direction, and tactical expertise on food & beverage concepts. This position drives hotel profitability through revenue generation in various food and beverage/outlets (i.e., room service, restaurants, banquets, pool, kitchens, stewarding, retail), cost control, guest satisfaction and associate engagement. The successful candidate will have impeccable leadership and communication skills, and cutting edge technical food & beverage knowledge.
Essential Functions
v Responsible for ongoing operations, refining operating standards and practices as needed based on business conditions
v Preparing all financial reports from annual budgets to monthly forecasting, meeting all goals and objectives set annually
v Interact positively with guests promoting hotel facilities and services
v Resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties
v Maintain communication with all departments to ensure guest service needs are met
v Move throughout facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met
v Responsible for the selection, training and development of key leadership personnel within the division and its departments
v Able to exercise personnel action discretion within the hotel’s policies
v Oversee divisional matters as they relate to government and local employment laws & regulations.
v Maintain profitability of division to support overall hotel operation
v Control payroll and equipment costs (minimizing loss and misuse)
v Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory
v Evaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation
v Develop and implement cost saving and profit enhancing measures
v Control the elements that determine profit and loss
v Responsible for all major operating expenses
v Set margins and manage the business against projections
v Make decisions that relate to profit and loss
v Responsible for the financial management of the operation
v Provide support of a specialist nature to the Executive Committee
v Work in support of team goals and measure effectiveness through the Food & Beverage profit and service performance of the hotel
Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities
v Provides guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
v Administers the performance appraisal process for direct report managers.
v Conducts hourly employee performance appraisals according to Standard Operating Procedures.
v Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position.
v Verifies that employees are treated fairly and equitably. Strives to improve employee retention.
v Identifies the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
v Verifies that disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs) and support the Peer Review Process
v Interviews and hires management and hourly employees with the appropriate skills to meet the business needs of the operation.
v Manages beverage purchasing and control procedures and ensures staff is trained accordingly.
v Observes service behaviors of employees and provides feedback to individuals and or managers.

v Provides information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
v Provides guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
v Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
v Performs hourly job function if necessary.
v Extends professionalism and courtesy to team members at all times.
v Comprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll progress report.
v Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.
Qualifications
v Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
v A minimum of 8 years of management experience of high end restaurant and/or hotels
v A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a department head or senior leadership position at a luxury level operation
v At least 3 years’ experience in an executive level food & beverage and multi-unit position
v Ideal candidate will have occupied a similar or higher position for 1 to 2 years
v Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
v Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
v Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including, but not limited to, assignment of duties, evaluating service, and conducting disciplinary action when necessary
v Ability to prepare and analyze data, figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer
v Knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations
v Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages
v Must possess moderate computer skills
v Budgetary analysis capabilities required
v Knowledge of food service techniques and cost controls such as manpower, productivity, food cost and other expenses
Physical Requirements
Most work tasks are performed indoors. Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
