1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Zanzibar Leo Issue no.1821 – 8555 dated 21th July, 2022 of GPN.
2. The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has set aside funds for the operation of the Zanzibar Housing Corporation during the financial year 2022-2023. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Construction of New Commercial Cum Residential to be Built at (Mombasa Kwa Mchina- Zanzibar)
3. The Zanzibar Housing Corporation now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors registered in class I, II, III, for Construction of New Commercial Cum Residential to be Built at (Mombasa Kwa Mchina- Zanzibar)
4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (1CB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act No. 11 of 2016 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Bid Data Sheet.
5. Interested Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents via www.zppda.go.tz in (eproz portal) or link: eprocurement.zppda.go.tz.
6. A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders through online as instructed under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Hundred Thousand (200,000.00) Payment should be settled through the following Account details:

7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Tzs Twenty Million (20,000,000.00) in form of Bank Guarantee in acceptable format of the Tender Document
8. All Bids must be submitted online through www.zppda.go.tz in (eproz portal) or link: eprocurement.zppda.go.tz. , properly filled in, and must be submitted before Tuesday 17 October, 2022, 10:30 am. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence
of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Conference Room, Ground Floor Head Office at Vuga Zanzibar. The site visit and Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday 29″September 2022, at 10:00 am at Mombasa- Kwa Mchina Zanzibar, and Pre- Meeting will be held on 12:00 Zanzibar Housing Corporation Head Office.
9. Late bids, portion of bids, bids not received, and bids not opened and not read out in public at the bids opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
