Human Resource Manager
Location: Zanzibar, Tanzania

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall HR operations across the group, ensuring compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and group policies.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s objectives and organizational growth.
- Lead the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the company attracts and hires top talent.
- Design and execute employee training and development programs to improve employee performance and career growth.
- Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts while fostering a positive work environment.
- Develop and manage performance appraisal systems to ensure effective staff development.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, legal compliance, and employee benefits.
- Manage compensation and benefits packages, ensuring competitiveness within the local job market.
- Analyze and report on HR metrics and provide insights to senior management for workforce optimization.
- Promote a culture of employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in human resources, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Strong background in recruitment, employee relations, HR policies, and compliance with Tanzanian labor laws.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate across different functions.
- A degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in Tanzania.
