1.0 Background and introduction
1.1. About Tuungane Project
The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Pathfinder International (Pl) in Tanzania are jointly implementing an integrated Project known as TUUNGANE which is addressing Collaborative Fisheries Management through Population-Health-Environment (PHE) approach for fisher communities living in 23 coastal villages along Lake Tanganyika in Kigoma and Katavi regions.
One among project goals is to achieve sustainable fisheries under community-based approach through among others, formation and capacity building of Beach Management Units (BMUs) via community-based fisheries management (CBFM).
Under this tender the organization invites the tenderers to supply three (3) new boats made of fiberglass materials each with a 25 HP (YAMAHA) outboard engine.
2.0 Specifications

3.0 Requirements
3.1 Registered company/firm with experience on making/supplying fiberglass boats.
3.2 We reserve the right to carry out clarifications if necessary.
3.3 This work should be completed in two months from the date of the signing contract.
3.4 Supplier have to deliver the 3 boats at Kigoma.
4.0 Expression of interest
Tenderers will be evaluated against a set of the following criteria
1. Legal compliance -registered tax payer, business license/permit and any legal certification
2. Financial capacities i.e. attached 3 months bank statement.
3. Work experience and workmanship capacity eg attached completed works certificates, referees and staff CVs
4. Meeting the bidding specification and requirements in section 2 and 3 , evidenced attached photos.
