DODOMA CITY OUTER RING ROAD (112.3 KM) CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR TECHNICAL AUDIT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF DODOMA CITY OUTER RING ROAD (112.3 KM) ROAD PROJECT TO BITUMEN STANDARD
TENDER NO. AE/001/2020-21/HQ/C/63
1. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received funds from African Development Bank (AfDB) and Africa Growing Together Fund (AF TF) towards the cost of Dodoma City Outer Dual Carriageway Ring Road (112.3 km) to Bitumen Standard and intends that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the Contract for Consultancy Services for Technical Audit for Construction of Dodoma City Outer Dual Carnage Ring Road (112.3 km) to Bitumen Standard. The road Project is located in Dodoma City.
2. The services included under this project are
i. Check if the Works are being performed as per requirements of specifications.
ii. Examine whether sufficient controls are in place to mitigate the potential risks of the project
iii. Certify that the procured technical equipment is technically suitable for use in executing the works
iv. Ascertain that authority and responsibility for the execution of works are assigned properly
v. Verify the information system whether or not is adequate to assure the proper execution of works
vi. Ensure that payments to be made for the project are in accordance with the actual Supervision Consultant’s and Contractor’s entitlement for payment
The estimated time input for execution and completion of the assignment is 13 staff-months spread intermittently over Project Construction Period of forty-eight (48) months inclusive of 12 months of the Defect Liability Period.
3. The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Works and Transport Now invites eligible Consultants to express their interest in providing the above-mentioned services. Interested Consultants must provide information indicating their qualifications for performing the services Such information may include brochures, descriptions of assignments of similar nature in the last ten (10) years, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate managerial and technical skills among staff related to the assignment, etc. For each project performed, the Consultant shall provide the name and address of the Client, start date and completed dates, name(s) of lead and associate firms. Cited projects with insufficient information will not be considered. Consultants may joint venture to enhance their chances of qualification.
4 Eligibility criteria, the establishment of the shortlist and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the
African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy Frame Work, October, 2015” which is available on the Bank’s
website at http://www.afdb.org
5. Interested Consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 08:00 local time on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on Public Holidays.
6. Expressions of Interest must be delivered on or before 10:00 hours local time on 28th July 2021 clearly marked:
