Invitation for Tenders
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received funds from Development Partners towards the implementation of Water Sector Support Program (WSSP II) during the financial year of 2020/2021 and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Supply of Office Furniture.
- The Ministry of Water now invites sealed bids from eligible Suppliers of the following goods:

2. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non-Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No.446 as amended and are open to all Bidders as defined in the Regulations.
3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Water, P.O, Box 456, Kolon Building apposite DUWASA Head Office, PMU Office, 40473 Dodoma. Email: [email protected] Dodoma from 8.00 to 15:30 on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
4 A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 6 below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand (TShs. 100,000.00). Payment shall be made through the electronic payment system therefore interested bidders are invited to collect the Control number for effecting the payment.
5. All Bids must be accompanied by Unconditional Bid security equivalent to 2% of the tender price in an acceptable form as provided in the bidding document. Bid Security must properly address to the following address: Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Water, PO. Box 456, and 40473 Dodoma.
6. All sealed bids in One (1) original plus Three (3) copies, properly filled and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address given below on 13th July 2021 before or at 11:00 hour’s local time, The outer envelope of the bid should be clearly sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Water P.O. Box 456 Dodoma, and marked “TENDER NUMBER. ME/011/2020-2021/G/34 FOR SUPPLY OF OFFICE FURNITURE and Marked DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 11:00 HOURS Local Time. Bids will be opened promptly after the deadline at a public bid opening ceremony to be held in Presence of bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at Kolon Building Opposite DUWASA Head Office, PMU Office of the Ministry of Water (DODOMA HQ).
7. Late Bids, Portion of Bids, Electronic Bids, Bids not received, Bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
