PROVISION OF STAFF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER

1. Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. 2. Plan International has been working in Tanzania since 1991. Our work supports marginalized children and youth, especially adolescent girls, to grow up physically and mentally healthy and ready to shape their future. We create an enabling environment and empower girls to be active drivers of change in realizing their rights. We priorities working with partners, and ensuring all of our work is evidence based.
3. The proposed scheme will be for a period of one-year effective 1 July 2021- 30 June 2022 and renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance, that the contract shall not exceed 3 three years, thereafter the tender will be advertised again
4. Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Tendering procedures as specified in the Plan International Procurement and Logistics Guideline.
5. Plan International Tanzania invites sealed tenders from eligible suppliers for provision of staff medical insurance cover. Interested eligible tenderers must confirm their intention to tender indicating all relevant contact information including an email address to [email protected] attn: Head of Procurement and Logistics. Tender documents in the English language will be sent to interested tenderers by email. Plan Tanzania will not be held responsible for any costs related to printing, postage or delivery of the tender documents.
6. Tenderers are requested to submit Technical and Financial Proposals with each enclosed in a separate envelope and marked “Technical Proposal” and “Financial Proposal” respectively. The two envelopes shall then be enclosed in a single envelope.
7. Tenderers are hereby requested to submit or send the tenders to [email protected] Attn: Head of Procurement and Logistics, Plan International Tanzania before 11AM Friday 23rd April 2021, marked the respective tender number and description
8. Late tenders shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
